About this Talk
Owning a business is not for the faint of heart. If it was easy, everyone would do it. Most business owners SAY they want to grow their business, but far fewer are ready, willing and able to grow.
When I work with entrepreneurs and independent professionals to grow their businesses, I do my best work by:
- Creating a compelling story that inspires your customers to BUY instead of boring them to tears. I always ask "Are You Story Telling or Boring Telling?"
- Developing a solid sales and marketing strategy, and putting the systems in place to implement that strategy
- Making sure you create and support a motivating company culture that inspires employees to work for you, and do their BEST work
- Eliminating the "feast or famine" sales cycles by creating a steady sales funnel
- Examining the individual needs of each stakeholder so that the right people are sitting in the "right seats" in your company
- Ensuring that you are finding, hiring, and training the best possible talent for each position in your company
- Creating the proper infrastructure that supports expansion
